!!! CHAMPIONS !!!

Oh yes they did! Our 12/5’s are 2022 Premiers!!!!!!

Elliot Dalton was voted Best on Field for embodying the spirit and sportsmanship of junior soccer in the game by the referees. Coach Belinda could not be prouder or more humbled by this fantastic group of players and all that they achieved throughout the season!

Well done kids, enjoy your success!!

Our Under 12/5’s Grand Final Bound!!

They did it! Our Under 12/5 heroes secured a place in the 2022 Grand Final with with a thrilling extra time goal by Tess Gooley securing a 1-0 win over Kellyville Kolts at Eric Mobbs Reserve.

With the score locked at 0-0 at the end of regular time, it took extra time to separate the sides.

Cometh the hour, cometh the young lady…

With only 60 seconds on the clock, a corner from Marcus Yacoub was whipped into the penalty area leaving the opposing defenders scrambling to clear the danger. However, they only managed to get as far as Tess at the far edge of the penalty area who only needed one touch to coolly slot the ball into the top of the net leaving the goalkeeper helpless to stop it.

Watch here to see the match winning goal:

A very satisfied coach shared her thoughts after the game:

“The team worked incredibly hard all season into the lead up to the finals and showed resilience, perseverance and cohesive team work to pull off a spectacular victory. We look forward to witnessing another exciting outing in the Grand Finals next week”.
