Summer Football wrap for U8 Sharks

Summer Football wrap for U8 Sharks

The U8 Sharks had a great time playing the Hills Football Summer Football season at Kellyville Park on a Thursday night this term. We lost Paloma & Dillon from our winter team, but gained Isaac Frketic (who usually plays for the U8 Tigers). We also replaced our winter coaches of Brendan Sweeney and Enzo Giallonardo with Ryan McGovern.

The boys were playing up in the Under 9’s comp, and for the first few games they really noticed the difference playing against kids in Year 3. But they skilled up and we had some great wins, no better than our last game. The final goal had all us parents in awe. Isaac Frketic kicking in from the sideline, straight to David who headed the ball straight into the goal – amazing stuff.

These boys have developed their football skills so well. Dylan has some fancy footwork going on, Daniel boots the ball down the field, Liam is a happy goalie and is doing some great straight kicks, Cooper is our little pocket rocket, Denzel is dangerous at attacking, Jack has scored some fantastic goals, Isaac Frketic – we’ll happily keep you in the Sharks team. And as for our Colombian duo, David and Isaac, you two are crazy cats and super soccer stars.

Thanks Hills Football for a great summer comp. We are looking forward to being back together for the 2018 Winter season.

Do your kids dream of one day being a soccer legend like Leo Messi? Let us help them get off to a fun start this year. Sign them up to play soccer with their mates.

Registration Day is this Sunday 5th February at St Bernadette’s Catholic Church at 10am. Come and meet your committee and ask questions.

Official registration and payment needs to be processed for all Football NSW players on the website MyFootballClub. You will need to create an FFA number for each child you register, then follow the steps to complete the registration form.
